Why? He can't do anything to help you. Sorry to be an ***, but what's the point here?

To answer the question, yes there is a local one.

Anyone on here a Cornwell tool dealer?

MePilotUNot is a GJ member and a Cornwell dealer in PA. Have not seen his postings lately. I believe there is one other Cornwell dealer as well.

Interesting timing as I was putting together a Cornwell wish list and was wondering about Cornwell dealers as well.

I got a broken socket I bought years ago, shortly after all the Cornwell dealers disappeared around me

Honestly i would try to contact cornwell to get it replaced. Or ship it to a member here that has a dealer and get them to get it replaced for you.

Can't you mail it in?:dunno:

Not that you'd want to...shipping is probably more than replacement. I see some cornwell stuff pretty cheap on ebay.

Depending on the socket shipping may exceed the value of the socket. What is it? I would be willing the get it replaced for you. Im not too far from you. You pay for all the shipping of course.

We goin fishin here?

Never tried fishin with a TR72 ratchet. :D Suppose it could be made to work.

Come on fellas... while I realize that tool dealers aren't supposed to sell to folks outside their territory, money talks and some dealers (not limited to any specific brand) will do it.

I just warrantied a couple of wrenches with them last month. I had no problem and was impressed with how fast I got the new wrenches back. I filled out the form on their website and within minutes I got an automatic response back on what to do for warranty items. I did have to pay for shipping to them, but I expected that.

Sue them in small claims court. Why not... Well...if they got assets in your state.

I don't know what to tell you. Anyone that doesn't want me as a customer doesn't get me as a customer. They...don't appear to value your business so punch below the belt.

You can mail in the items at your own expense. Their website is the resource to go that route. Very good customer service.

I E-mailed Cromwell yesterday using the form on the web site and got a response today from the district manager for my territory. Seems there is currently no Cromwell driver in my area (although I thought I saw a Cromwell truck not long ago.) The DM said he would be happy to arrange tool sales through another Cromwell driver.
