Knock..knock.
Hello. Just popped over from the HAMB with a question and having groused at a few noobs over there for not posting an intro, thought this should be my first stop. Senior citizen..35 years military..metal work and hot rods pretty much covers the hobbies. Can do woodworking when forced into it. Know my electronics as that's how I earned my living in DOD, but choose to leave all that behind me. I have a nice large workshop with a fair amount of capability. Starting work on cooling it down this afternoon. Starting with an attic fan. If that doesn"t do it, I will have to go with AC. My son-in-law is HVAC and will be a great help.

Welcome. Are you in the Southwest? You're fortunate to have "in house" HVAC expertise. Let us know how you solved your ventilation problem.

I live on a wooded hillside with pretty good natural flow, but it's all relative when it's 100 degrees plus.

No, I'm in the humid Gulf South. I have shade, and I remember how well the attic fan cooled my childhood home. Thought I would give it a try.
