Good morning GJ'ers,

I have a question for those of you using the Crown PSC 1000 in your solvent based parts washers. They state it is for steel parts, and I know there are plenty of chemicals out there that can damage or discolor raw aluminum parts, but I'm curious if anyone has had any issues using the Crown solvent on aluminum engine components?

The SDS I found online says it is primarily Medium Aliphatic Naphtha (95-100%), plus whatever other proprietary stuff they put in there.

I am assuming plenty out there are using this solvent on all kinds of parts and materials, but didn't want to go all in on it and then damage a really expensive set of aluminum heads!

Thanks!
