Crows Foot - In the Wrench Drawer or Socket Drawer?

I just wonder what you guys do? I recently got some Crows Foot sockets and I couldn't decide if I should put them in the wrench drawer or the socket drawer?

I put them in the wrench drawer for now since there was more room, but it's shorting out my OCD. They technically belong with the sockets since they have to be driven my a ratchet or a breaker. Yet, they look and act like a wrench...

Where do you keep 'em?

If you're OCD, the only solution is to buy two sets and store them with the sockets AND the wrenches.

They are in a drawer with plastic divider/organizers. I think I'm going to copy the guy that ran bar stock through them to keep them together.

You jest, but I've got three socket drawers (one each for 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2" drive) a wrench drawer, and another drawer for the flarenut wrenches that the crows foot sockets also live in.

Wrench drawer for me. They are sold as wrenches. At least that's what Snap On sells them as. So that's where they go.

It's called a crow foot wrench, not a crow foot socket.

At work they are in the main wrench drawer. At home they are in the overflow wrench drawer which is all the odder style of wrenches I bought after the main drawer filled up.

i remove the magnets from the harbor freight 18" tool holders and use them hold my crowsfoot wrenches in my stubby wrench drawers

They go in the "weirdo" Ratchet-driven tools drawer with the Allen/hex bits, Torx bits, ect.

Wrench drawer. Flare nut crowfoot are by the flare nut wrenches. Regular open end are by the open end wrenches. 3/8" are stored on the Snap On holders. 1/2" are stored on a 1/2" bolt. But part of the 1/2" set were too tall to fit in the drawer with the wrenches. So they're housed in the drawer with then 3/4" sockets. They're not in the socket drawer because there isn't room for them.

Wherever they fit best with your box and your system. Organization is very important, but what they are classified as by being in the "socket drawer" or "wrench drawer" is truly irrelevant so long as they have a place, you know the place, and you can account for any missing sizes. I'm not trying to be a smart allelic, but that's just how I see it.

For what it's worth, mine are in my wrench drawer simply because I had more room in there at the time I set up my toolbox. If I had to move them one day to the sockets drawer, or even the extras drawer (since I don't use them that often anyway) then I'd be a-ok with either of those solutions as well.

Mine are in the socket drawer. There's no space in the wrench drawers, and they need a ratchet/extension to work. So why open two drawers?
