crushproof exhaust hose

Thinking about pulling the trigger on some crushproof garage hose. I work on a handfull of diesel pickups, usually cars and SUVs. Looking at going with the 3" set with the "Y" then buying another straight section and coupler. But I was wondering is what adapter do you diesel guys use if you arent running the stock exhaust on trucks anymore? I'm looking at a Dayco 64130 bell adapter but they dont list any specs on the mouth end of the adapter. Stock duramax exhaust and a 6 or 8" tip on a different truck are the biggest I've encountered so far, just seeing if that'll fit it.

i recently did a 3 " setup for my cars, so that i can work in my garage and not have to keep the doors open all the time in the cold. i got a nice set from : Exhaust-A-Way great prices and super fast shipping for me. i got hte Flarelok brand hose, nothing fancy but nice hose !!
you can buy pieces or pre built kits. i also bought an exhaust port and put it in my garage wall next to the bay door. no one knows it there unless i tell them

Might want to check out Greg Smith Equipment. I know they have some adapters.....not sure on sizes though.


OR....alternative....sawzall those stupid giant exhaust tips off and throw them in the iron pile
