CTEK charger repair

My CTEK 7002 charger stopped charging, mode selection worked, maybe 1.9v output on leads. Took it apart and measuring across the relay contact soldered on the board, it was not passing voltage when operating. I tried taking the cover off the relay but it seemed to moulded together. I removed the heatsink above it and used an air saw to but the top off the relay cover. You have to cut at the very top and go slowly, the contact is at the very top. Cleaned the contact and now I have a working battery charger again.

I had problems with the mode switch. After I had replaced it, I found that a good flush of contact cleaner, sometimes fixes it.
