So this afternoon/weekend I have to push aside the Drift Breaker to perform some overdue maintenance on the Cub. She’s pushing like 800 hours and has developed a transmission leak. On these the hydrostatic transmission is bolted to the differential transmission. Pretty sure the latter is what’s leaking…
Anyway, the plan is to pull the reservoir and check that gasket.. then if I have to pull the rear transmission plate and check that gasket. Never done this before, and there’s assembly differences between the exploded diagram on parts tree and the 3000 series repair guide.
I guess we shall see which is correct. <fingers crossed>
