Curious about floor

I have noticed that several new Wal-Mart stores I have been in have a "colored" concrete floor in them. What type of coating is this? Is it DIY?

its a stain not a coating... Look up polished concrete and you can learn more. It will run you 2 or 3 dollars more a square foot then an epoxy coating.
