Curious why I can't combine epoxy kits?

If I have one small kit and one large kit of epoxy paint both have part A and a part B of course why could I not combine both part A's and both part B's to premix then mix altogether? The instructions say in bold not to combine like this but I truely can't understand if they are both the exact same product and you keep your ratios the same what would this hurt?

Because it could get too hot/cure too quickly and the manufacturer doesn't want consumers complaining?

If the products are identical (same maker, same product, same everything) you probably could combine. I'd ask the maker what they suggest, I take it you want to even out any color differences, right?

We always recommend batch mixing all Part A for color continuity. Part B does not need to be pre-mixed. You always should measure out your batches, not mix full kits.
