Recently acquired a 1942 model 95 Curtis air compressor. Just changed the oil and plugged it in and works good. It's ugly and needs a bath and fresh paint. Would anybody have an idea what it's worth?

I have the same one and paid $400 for it a couple years ago. I did buy it from my uncle, so may have gotten a better deal. Not sure what others get for them, but that's what I paid.

Thank you for the reply. I paid 50 bucks for it from a forklift mechanic shop that was gonna scrap it...looks like it was a pretty good deal

Dang, I'd say so. From what I have read about them, they are good compressors, they have definitely stood the test of time.
