Howdy first time poster…
I have a Curtis compressor the serial# is c9688-38150 it has a 80gal tank. It looks pretty old but it works good. I’m wanting to change the oil in it but I have no idea on the correct oil to use or which air filter. Any idea of age? Any ideas on a service manual.?Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you, Mike

I have a very similar Curtis. I use 30W non-detergent. It is a 1972 vintage and is a real workhorse.

Last I knew, Curtis was still in business, maybe St. Louis?? I repaired an old Curtis, bought factory parts, talked to someone at the factory about replacing a connecting rod bushing.

I like this old compressor as it’s pretty quite although it doesn’t build air super fast. It does meet most of my needs.
Thank y’all for the info.
