Hello everyone. This is a project my partner and I have been developing over the last few months.
As I get older, I have less and less patience looking for the right tool when I need it, and even less patience for trying to read small, hard to read markings.
This was the impetus for my initial design, the socket holder. It was something I personally wanted, and it occurred to me that others might have a similar need. I would like to hear everyone's comments and suggestions. We are accepting limited orders at this time as we work on our systems and website. Base price will be around $29 per holder.

The design is meant to minimize storage space while making finding the proper socket as easy as possible. The large color 3D printed sizes are easy to read from the front or from above, so it works well on a tool board or in a drawer. Since they are 3D printed, we can adjust the design to fit the tools you own and the space you wish to put them in. Our commercial 5-head 3D printer allows us to print multi-color models at nearly the same speed and quality as a single color machine. So we can add names, logos, part numbers and more to the holders.
Our standard designs are made to fit a regular pegboard. They have pins in the back which help support the holders and special peg board screws to hold them in place. Each holder has a magnet at the bottom of each socket hole to hold the sockets in place. They are strong enough to prevent the sockets from falling out, but easy to remove, no twisting or pulling like with spring clips (I hate those things!) And we can design them to fit exactly the sockets you have, in the space you want!
These holders can be color coded or otherwise marked to help organize your tools. We install magnets on the bottom when mounting to a steel table or in a metal drawer is desired. Custom mounting options can be accomodated. They can be conveniently stuck to a car fender or other metal surface, keeping in mind not to use on easily scratched surfaces... In-vehicle storage systems are a great match for our product.
Possibilities include custom sets for race teams with color scheme and logos to match. Owners name can be added as desired. Various color designs can be printed like the American flag theme or the checkerboard style. Mechanics can work with us to design a set exactly to their specifications to hold just the tools they want, in the drawer or other space they have. Fellow GJ members can have color coordinated & designed sets to improve workflow.
These holders are excellent in shared workspaces or where tool management is critical. Missing tools are immediately obvious, and putting the sockets back in the proper place is much easier due to the custom sized support holes. In industries like Aviation where every tool must be positively accounted for at end of job, our system can make this much easier and safer. In manufacturing, just the exact tools or even sub assembly parts can be fitted to holder.
Although we have begun with socket holders, we can easily provide custom designs for other uses, such as end mills, drills, collets or whatever else you need to organize. Suggestions for viable products are welcomed.
We are a distributor for Tekton Tools, and can provide custom socket holders with the desired sockets in them. Tekton was our first choice of brand, due to very high quality, reasonable price, and excellent warranty policy. I have used Craftsman tools since I was young, but unfortunately I no longer trust their quality. That said, we can design tool holder for any brand if customer supplies measurements needed.
We are developing tool holder boards as shown in the photos. These board contain almost the entire set of Tekton 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive 6 point sockets, in standard and deep version, both metric and inch. The boards can be separated and mounted to the wall with quick release clamps. An individual board can be removed and brought closer to the work. Individual holders can also be removed and brought directly to work area. The two board clip together in an A-frame for easy access.

I look forward to hearing peoples suggestions and comments.
