Hand-made by the seller, solid pine trim carpenter's toolbox with half-blind dovetails and sliding dovetail construction with rabbeted drawer faces. Solid brass hardware mortised into drawer faces. Replaceable hardwood 'wear strips' on the bottom. Based on one pictured in 'The Toolbox Book', Taunton Press.
This box is used and shows some signs of use. I am NOT passing this off as a 'new' box! That said, it is in great shape and should serve you, your son, and grandson well. It is pictured in it's current condition. The detail shot is just showing the drawer box construction.
I have no interest in selling it for any less than my asking price, so please don't ask.
I know the market is slim-to-none for a toolbox of this price and weight, but that's OK. I am fine with keeping it, then I won't have to build another!
