Custom rubber stamps ordered online?

Anyone have a recommendation for an online vendor for custom-made rubber stamps? Kind of an offbeat request, I realize.

I was at an old Route 66 motel in Santa Fe earlier this month and some of the books in the lobby had a bookplate using custom artwork the hotel had made into a rubber stamp. My library doesn't have bookplates in the many volumes of cars, architecture, travel, and so on. I might like to create one.

There are a bunch of companies offering custom stamps that can be ordered online. Any ones that folks here might recommend?

That's a fine idea, Barry. There's an office depot a half mile from my house.

I've been awfully tempted to get one for endorsing checks. I'll have to see if there's an Office Depot anywhere near me.

Most towns/cities have a place that offers/makes rubber stamps. A deli down the street from me uses run-of-the-mill brown bags but stamps every one with a 5x7 rubber stamp with their logo on it. I always liked that simple but effective approach.

If you’re a business, they may give you one for free. They did for me, without asking. Heck, if you process enough checks, they might do it anyway.
