Saw this and thought of some of you guys with awesome/vintage themed shops. This company will make a vintage themed shop sign for you:

I'm glad I can letter and pinstripe because we are going to do just that. I learned to do it as a hobby years ago. A shop sign for our garage. Just haven't decided what we like yet ........

My neighbor owns a graphics shop.

IIRC, she charged me about $300 in 2006. She used a picture of my mustang to make the sign. It's all 3 D, with each part sitting proud from the piece behind it. You might be able to tell the car's antenna is a piece of wire. I thought that was a nice touch.

I put a spot light on top of my garage door opener that points at it. It runs off the garage door light.

This is a sign/wall art piece that I made for my Jeep garage. It's made from layered pieces of MDF with LED head lights. I used real tire tread pieces.

The Tool Issue sign is a cast off from the power plant were I work.

I always thought a custom sign would look good up on one of the rafters. What I had in mind was something that read "The ASYLUM" at one of the red spots in the picture, probably the back one. Maybe even some backlighting to really make it pop at night.

It's still under debate, but these wood rafters will most likely be covered with more white vinyl to match the rest of the second story in the shop. Unfortunately, its not the nicest looking wood, otherwise I would just stain/seal them or something.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I made a sign that I believe fits in fairly well...

At my high school they have a 15x5 CNC machine and they also have a Epilog Laser engraver.

I got to use the Epilog for so of my wood work :)

THe Gas sign is an old tire cover from an RV. Painted by a buddy I've called "Hippie Bob" for 20 years. His work is always 100% awesome.

I built this sign to hang over the backbar of the soda fountain in The Hot Rod Grille garage. I cut, bent and spot-welded the polished stainless steel and had a local sign shop create the 3-color neon based on my sketch. It's 6 feet long.

Very cool sign.

no doubt I love the old three diamond International logo

Thanks guys. My parents had a small dealership to help support their small fleet of over the road trucks. They leased to Middle Atlantic Transportation. They sold trucks, tractors, refrigerators etc. Wish they were still alive. They'd get a kick out of the sign.

Here is my 3 diamond logo to share, although you can't see the logo all that well. First time I have posted a picture so I hope it works.
