I'm kinda surprised there's not more people that can print doing wraps for toolbox's. I think you're onto something huge here, good luck!!

id be interested in "clear" wraps fro my drawer fronts... i just 'redid' a SnapOn KR555D in rustoleum and would like something to 'protect' the paints as its scratches. 3m makes a tape used on car doors but its rediculously expensive and finding it in appropriate sizes where i wont have a ton of left overs or waste is not something ive been able to do... but depending on your 'wrap' material and how durable it is you may have a product id like to buy.

I just built a road box and had it powder coated black to give me a good surface to stick a wrap on.

Here is one shot of it just after being wrapped.

The build from start to finish is in the fabrication section under "My Road Box" or you can click the link in my signature and it will take you there. Finished pics are on page 3 about 75% of the way down the page.
I had a buddy of mine do it for me. Told him kind of what I wanted but gave him the flexibility to put his own design flare into it. Turned out great and also he double laminated it to help with preventing damage or scratches from riding in the back of my truck.
Already have plans to build another one and it will be wrapped as well.

I'd rather have a wrap for my fridge that looks like a Snap-On box.

Deadhead-how many shows did you see? Chicago '95 was 69 for me.

We have a joint here in town that does the wraps for cars trucks etc. I called and asked them how much they wanted to do my tool box (KRL 1023) they said if I sent a pattern (same all over) and installed it myself it was 75$ If I wanted a photo it was 125$ or they would come and install it for 200$ even.

How much would I be looking at for you to make me one for my box?

sound pretty reasonable you would have to send me your measurements and your photo you wanted and it would be precut ready to install we also would make sure photo quality was perfect for size of area so it would be perfect, pricing would be $350.00 free freight to you and about 2 weeks for delivery any questions email me [email protected] or call 732 322 4562.
