Custom Wrench Roll Pouches idea

I was modifying a Wrench Roll pouch to fit some newly purchased Angle wrenches I just bought, and an idea popped in my head. I wanted to see if any shops would ever have a need for custom wrench rolls to fit what ever size wrenches they wanted and to have their shop name on the pouches.
I just wanted to get a feel here before I even thought about pursuing this any more.

Sew kevlar from blown car airbags in as a liner. Takes about three years of daily use to wear through it.

This pops up every now and then. Basically, don't quit your day job. Not many people want to pay for custom wrench rolls.

^^^^ THIS ^^^^
Nice idea as a gift for someone who likes his tools.
Bad idea for someone who wants to start a business to pay his mortgage.

There are multiple wrench roll choices, but not for specific sets like your angle wrenches. You can spend time on ebay trying to track down old SO or Mac bags....lots of time. The length mismatch is frustrating! And if you invest in quality chrome and you feel them rubbing when you roll up the bag.....well.....ayuh as Bondo would say. DO NOT START ON THE TOOL POLISHER BS! :eyecrazy:
I wish I could buy affordable wrench rolls to spec, as I am space challenged and am using rolls these days.
If anyone knows a semi-affordable option I would be interested.

You could always contact an awning company and ask if they'll do a custom order for you.
The same option may apply for an upholster as well.

Buy a sewing machine, get some denim (jean material) and make your own.

I buy the materials and take that and a drawing to a local shop. Always ask for double stitched and heavy thread.

Pay the asking price and watch the quality stay up.

I get whatever features I can dream up and pay for.

My friend has a canvas shop, I could get them done there to start a few for trial. I was just getting a feel if you think any shops would have an interest or need for pouches for the oddball stuff they may want to roll up until they need, or just mainly a few people on GJ that would be interested in it. I looked a Wright Tool Denim Pouches I love those.

Before she passed, I asked my mother to help me make a couple of rolls for my stubby combo wrenches. We used a brown vinyl upholstery material and they came out good. The wrenches stay with each other, although the stubbys don't get a lot of use

I was thinking of making one too. But then I saw this for sale at Sears.

Craftsman 14 Pocket Wrench Roll for $9.99

I think for the price (and I believe I had a $5 off coupon...) this is the best option out there.

I was able to fit my 6mm-25mm USA CM/KD/ALLEN combination wrenches with a few repeats in there. I was able to double up some slots pretty easily. It's not perfect. But at least they're not sliding around like crazy in a toolbox anymore.

I don't know why they made the larger pockets so long though...

Did you look at the Craftsman models that are available like that one just above? Cordura nylon is far better than cotton denim. Pretty hard to beat the Craftsman models on price point. I paid ten bucks + sales tax for mine.

You might want to check the offerings from "Dickies", which are made of a heavier material also.

There are better choices for material than denim, although it does work fine if it's not subjected to a lot of abuse.

I made the ********* one in this pic for my Williams set and sold/gave away a few until I ran out of the cordura. Not really worth it if you are trying to make money but if you are handy, you can save some money and make them custom for any set of wrenches.
