Customer Service Opinions

Hello all,

Long time lurker, but first time poster. I have been researching different garage floor coatings and companies for months and am about to pull the trigger on roughly 2K worth of supplies.

I have narrowed my choice down to a few of the well known companies (a couple with active representatives on this board: Garage Floorinng & Legacy Industrial) and was wondering what type of customer service experience others have had.

The reason I ask is because I have sent questions to 2 of said companies (I actually purchased a patch product from one of them), and have not received a response from either. This makes me nervous because if someone is slow or unwilling to answer pre-sales questions, I wonder what sort of help I will get after they already have my money.

I typically respond to all my emails very quickly . Sorry if something got stuck in a filter somewhere.

There was one email on the customer service side from Late Monday (after we closed) that they had not replied to pending my input. Emails addressed to me come to my phone. On that note every customer gets my personal email address and cell phone number

For me personally, I contacted 4 companies which are on here (I won't say names) but the responsiveness I got from armorpoxy blew the others out of the water. I would write a 4-5 sentence email to some of the others and wouldn't even get a complete sentence back. Just a few words, no real explanation of to why on some of my questions. Just seemed like they may have not cared as much or maybe that they didn't think I was serious. With armorpoxy they would ask me questions, what's my flooring for, what do I plan on using, what am I wanting out of it etc.... Even after I installed the flooring they were extremely responsive. I'm not bashing other companies as everyone on here knows there are plenty of vendors on here who sale quality material. I'm just giving you my customer service opinion

Don'y take it personally, we are all slammed right now.
That said I generally answer direct emails faster than messages through this site and our team supports all of our customers (even after hours).

I appreciate the insight everyone, thank you. I completely understand that some people are very busy right now and am just trying figure out if the current responsiveness is just a product of the times or part of a broader problem.

I absolutely do not take it personally, as there is no shortage of companies willing to sell me products, even during this brief period of accelerated home improvement projects. I am just trying to make sure I purchase from someone who currently has the time to offer support, should a problem/question arise.

Hi, to our knowledge the vendors that participate regularly on the GJ give excellent service.

If your based in North America you’re spoilt for floor coating choices on this forum alone. I’ve heard nothing but positive comments about the vendors. The vendors answer queries on weekends! My biggest problem would be how to ‘share the love’ so they all get my business.
