I got a bunch of partially used 7” diameter sand paper hook & loop discs of various grits.

I’d like to use them on my 5” Ridgid orbital sander. Is there a quick way to cut em down to size? Or draw 5” circles on them and cut with a scissors?

Thanks

How about a 5 inch object, like coffee can or plastic pipe fitting and a razor knife? Depending on the quantities, build a punch.

I used to do it all the time with grinding discs. Use a pair of tin snips you don't care about.
Place on disc, then trim around the edge.
