Hi
I looking to install some square outlets in a wall control metal pegboard. Trying to figure out the best way to cut, drill, grind a hole that will not look mangled.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Hole needs to be just wider than the slots and equal in height.

If you have a dremel with the cut off wheels they work pretty good. Also you can use blue masking tape to follow as a guide by taping off the size hole you want.

I would cover it in masking tape, layout my hole, and drill holes in the corners and connect them with a body saw. The HF units are cheap and work great for home use. File the corners square after the cut.

Thanks for the ideas. That body saw looks cool. I might have to pick one up. Gonna try the dremel with a cut off wheel on a section that you can's see and see how I like it.

Worked on the Pegboard this weekend to get the outlets installed. Broke out the dremel with a disk and a file. I've got 12 of the the outlets, so 2 on each panel on the end and middle. All other other panels get 1 outlet. It will sit flush with the wall and the outlets clip onto the wire without exposing any wire.

Greenlee makes square punches. If there is one in the size you need it would make those hole fairly easy. Also square punches in ironworker would do the job depending on location from the edge and ease of moving panel around. These would be a lot easier than cutting each side with dremel etc.
