Well, the footings and walls are poured and backfilled on my 30X60 garage. To get water into the garage, they need to horizontal bore under the new garage and into the basement of the house. The people doing the horizontal drilling said that if I cut a 2' X 2' hole in the mechanical room of the house I could save $300.00 on the jobb. I own a Sthil concrete saw so I figured it would be no problem, boy was I wrong.
After wrapping the room in plastic I started the saw and everything seemed fine. I made two of the 2' cuts and the exhaust fumes were so bad the carbon monoxide detector went off. After airing it out, I tried to finish the cuts but my saw won't go completely through the concrete. To make matters a little tougher, I can't get my saw in the tight space to make the cuts on the end. What can I do? Thanks.....Mark
