I shadowed my portable tool box using a Hotwire cutter from hobby lobby. Cuts super easy and leaves a nice edge on the cuts.

Ended up heating up sockets about the same size as what the hokes will hold with a torch. Fitment is a little loose but I'm pleased with the results.

A set of gasket punches would be what I would try but since you have it done forget until the next time.

I don't know if this would help You? atleast not For really Small Sockets ? But you Could Take cans of various Sizes that you've washed after opening them ! Put a hole in the bottom for a 1/4 inch Bolt ! Put the Bolt through the bottom of the can and tighten it down with nuts and then sharpen the open End of the Can with a Dremel tool/ grinder bit !!! You can use the 1/4 inch Bolt as a mandrel and Chuck it in a Drill effectively making it a hole saw of Sorts ? You could also possibly just heat tge sharpened Can with a Heat gun and Push it into the Foam as well? Just a Thought and Hello and Merry Christmas and Happy New Years To You & everyone!!!!
