Does any one know about these? Do they work and will it be okay on the well pump?
I am getting ready to set up my well and ran across this on the internet and it seems like a great system to me. But the more I search the more info I find about people bashing the product and the company. I would love to hear some peoples thoughts about the product. If you are not familiers with it and are interrested google cycle stop valve and check out the companies web page.

A properly designed system will operate just fine for many years without the addition of another $100 part that will do nothing but add complication to the system.

I agree that the valve is not needed. But the threroy behind it seems very good and one would only need a 5 gallon pressure tank. The whole kit is about $600. That is less than the price of a 86 gallon pressure tank and I will still need the fittings and pressure switch. I have not read anywhere that it doesnt work.

I can say that I have a VFD pump that I like. One data point that make me happy with this VFD is that it is a soft start system. The soft start allows me to drive it off of a small generator during power outages. I have two acres that I water during the summer to maintain lawns and garden and I have had no problems with the system.

What are you doing that you need an 86 gallon pressure tank??
I don't think I've ever seen one bigger than about 30 or 40 gallons. Mine is 20 gallons(air over water) I believe, feeds an 1800 sq/ft 3 bath house just fine.
Not sure what size my well pump is, it's on a 40/60psi pressure switch, runs the whole house no problem. We notice very little pressure change no matter what we're doing.

86 gallon is what the well driller specked out. The total tank is 86 gallons. Im not sure how much water is actually in the tank. I am going to build a work shop this summer with kitchen and bathroom and in the future will build a 3 bedroom house. We have horses and will have a garden. Pretty much average water consumption. We have a 16 gpm submersable pump. Im not sure what the h.p. is.

Has anyone looked at the cycle stop set up?
