I've searched the threads here, seems like a number of folks like the MD802. I'm wondering if anyone has used their's to cycle the ABS pump for bleeding brakes. I've found a couple of forum posts (maybe the same person) that seems to indicate it can:

and here:

It would seem like if it could they would heavily advertise it in their literature but they don't mention it all.

Anybody that have one used it for this or feel like hooking it up to an ABS car and see if it gives you the option of doing this?

Thanks

The Autel MD802 is not bi-directional. You cannot use it to activate the ABS pump. It only reads codes (including ABS codes).

I have to back this up, I had a MD802. It will not activate anything or anything Bi-Directional, it's purely just a scanner (although a very thorough scanner)

You will need a DS708 or newer MaxiSys tablets MS905 & MS908 to run any adaptations or tests

That's what I was thinking, definitely seemed too good to be true. Thanks for the replies.
