Back in the day, my dad had 2 sets of wrenches (SAE only of course) that he'd use. There were the craftsman RP wrenches that had slimmer shafts than the ones that came later, plus these old ones. I'd forgotten about them until recently. They have no manufacturer name on them. On one side there's the size at each end, FORGED STEEL, and U.S.A. On the other side, nothing. I'd say these would be late 50s, early 60s vintage. Anybody recognize these?
Us kids all preferred using the Craftsman wrenches, we only used these when the other one was in use. Interestingly, this set and the Craftsman set went up to 3/4 but skipped 11/16. This caused real grief when rebuilding the suspension on the tent trailer we had in the early 70s.
