So I looked at the archives and many other sites suggested by the collective brain trust here. I could not find this exact set, but doubt that this was a set as I suspect pieces were added as needed. He did not tell me when he purchased these but I know they were around in the 60s as I helped with work on the cars and they were part of the kit. I always thought that some sockets were missing as the individual sockets are number in consecutive #'s but sockets that are x/32 are the ones I do not have in the set. I have concluded this as 1821 is 21/32 and 1825 is 25/32.

These socket numbers are not included in the set,
1815
1817
1819
1823
1827
1829
1833

Wondering what the original box color may have been I thought it was black, but it is now dark green.

Any information appreciated.

Wondering what the original box color may have been...
I have several midget sets and also this 3/4-inch drive box from the same general era, all with the same logo, and they are what I would call a classic or forest green.
