Daich coatings: spread stone?

I ran across this product at my paint supplier. I was wondering if anyone has experience with it? It "appears" to a be good alternative to Epoxy coatings, priced well and apparently fairly durable. I was able to examine a slab of concrete that was finished over 7 years ago with this product, and while it is an interior foot traffic application, it was holding up extremely well.


Just curious if it was something to consider.

I should note a couple things. First, the material that I saw had no sealer or clearcoat applied.

The thing that really caught my attention was the different applications and effects that are possible with this product. take the time to visit the website and view the videos showing the different applications. I was super impressed with the 2-coat roll on approach with the masked off grout lines. I think it would could provide a really classy look to a garage floor.

I am actually surprised that more people didn't chime in. This product has been out for a long time. Surely somebody has stumbled across it before. I was interested to see if anyone had any longevity issues or roblems they might see with it in regards to the garage enviorment

....Man, I hate being the guinea pig....haha

I've also thought of the idea on maybe doing some type of tiles in the garage but something different than the norm like maybe some recycled product although not required of course that is real thick. Something the same thickness as say a ceramic tile but with a bit of flexability like VCT or something like that. Sure would be nice locating something like that, that looked like natural stone, quartz, flakes, or something nice looking like those.

This is polymer modified concrete or, concrete overlay or microtopping. It's not new, we've been installing it for years, It does require a sealer, typically an acrylic, but in a garage setting we go with epoxy/poly or polyaspartic.

We do alot of basements with it.
