DAK brand open end wrench set?

I posted this on the main HAMB board. I recall my dad having a set of what I believe is a set of DAK open end wrenches that were probably bought in the 1950s. They came in a red roll up carrier, unfortunately they grew legs over the years. The outside of them had an odd cut, angular, not a smooth radius like most wrenches. I'm interested in the history of these, TIA.
