I purchased an older Dake 25H press off a gentleman the other day to put in my farm shop. The bed has been cut on a bit but as I get a chance I will either repair or replace it. Anyway, I’m kind of curious as to it’s age. The square headed bolts on some of it tell me it’s been around a day or two. I’ve read there’s a list floating around with serial numbers to help indicate it’s age but I haven’t found it yet. At any rate, I’m tickled to not have to go to the neighbors and use their press. My serial number is 146767. Again, this is just to satisfy my own curiosity, I’m sure it’s probably close to double my age....

Thanks for any insight you folks might have, and please excuse my mess. I started cleaning the other day....

Based on the Serial Number sequence, the light green color, the white plastic with red painted letter Dake emblem, the square head bolts, and brass emblem location... I would guess that your press was made between 1959-1960.

I have one that was made in 1961.
