Charles, it is not a ratcheting type but does have the rotating plate. Here's a pic.

It works fine, a cleanup and fresh paint would make it look better.

This particular garage sale was out in the country and had not had many visitors. I picked up some other tools and spotted the Dake in the back, not in the for sale area. I asked the gentleman if he would sell it and he said not really but make him an offer. I said $60 and he blinked for a second and said OK. He used to repair hydrauilcs but was retired and had not used it much anymore.

NICE ! I got a FAMCO 3 ton for 25.00 the same way. It makes a great can crusher too !!! Good job !!!

Wow! It still has the bolster plate! Around here I think there is a law that the plate has to be disposed of as soon as the press is purchased.:mad:
