Searched around for the best price, dropped the bomb and picked up a HD75 HotDawg furnace(75K btu[NG]) unpacked it and realized you have to specify HD"S"75 to get the one that uses outside air for combustion.... DOH!

OK tell me it's all OK don't fret keep the one you got don't worry it's no big difference.

I have a 36' x 30' 6" insulated walls(cellulose) split for the hoist clearance 12'flat/16'+vaulted R30 fiberglass insulated ceiling.

Thought I would get the fresh air model to avoid asphyxiating myself. I sometimes fall asleep out there and would like to wake each time(not to much to ask)

What YE say? Keep it? or Repack it and make my way back to the store?

Keep it. The fresh air model is significantly more money if I recall correctly. Its not like you are putting carbon monoxide into the air by running it. The exhaust is vented so im sure you'll be good.

Definitly a plus on the HDS. I've been trying to get prices on one myself and they are dang proud of them.

The Sterling Garage Guy is already set up for outside air. All you need is to provide the venting. I just turned mine on for the first time today after the propane company made the final connections. I paid about $700 for the 75k BTU unit including shipping. I'll post a photo in a new thread.

Yah I saw your thread 1 day after I bought mine for the same price DOH!

Gunna check and see if there is a restocking fee for mine and look into the sterling

Either way, invest in a plug-in co2 detector...that will wake you. The one I have also detects gas leaks.
