E-bay craziness for a good part has a simple explanation - international bidders. Snap on does not ship abroad. With the crappy dollar snap on tools even with some premium over list are actually quite affordable to foreigners and the only way to get them without coming to the US.

Wow I think the first guy that put a bid on that Snappy Flex really wants it. Idiots.

I won a 3/8's Proto Spinflex the other day for seven dollars.

I've never understood why people bid early so much; eBay is weird that respect and people do get into bidding wars!

If a seller has multiple listings for the same item but with a different end date/time. You bid early on the first listing that has no bids to "mark" it.:monkey_pi Hopefully anyone else that comes along will bid on one of the earlier listings, or a later listing with no bids. That's how I got my TIP blast cabinet for the minimum reserve. I saw other listings go for the retail price. They must have needed one worse than I did.

I use www.auctionsniper.com. I have used them for years and only pay them a small fee if I win. I have never had a problem with them. If you bid early on ebay's system sometimes the sellers will use shill bidders to run the price up.
