Damn, my drill broke on me!

Was working in the shop today and my drill I've had for 30 years finally died.

Debating about getting a craftsman one as they say they may be closing some stores or going with a snap on.

What would you prefer?

We have a couple CRAFTSMAN INDUSTRIAL i/2in drills (the red ones)at the shop, been beat on for years, still going strong.

I have a Wards 1/4 inch drill i got 45 years ago (1966) . It quit working about the second time i used it (1966). I have no idea why i still have it.

What kind of drill? DP, corded electric, cordless, hand crank???

What brand was it? (Have to be sure I avoid such a poor piece of engineering! )

If he broke a Hand Crank (Cole Drill) he needs to goto the hospital immediately to get his arm fixed because he surely didn't break the drill.
