hi guys, new here. great site. i have a classic car in the garage and i am trying to reduce the dampness. it has a concrete floor but no plastic underneath. it has never been coated or sealed. i would like to epoxy paint it or clear seal it. would either of these make it worse? i have read the postings about epoxies if i go that way. any advice on which method to use would be great. also any other tips about keeping moisture levels down would be great. thanks alot dave.

If you are experiencing moisture in the concrete the epoxy will not work. In the epoxy instructions it says to test first for moisture by taping down a 2'x2' sheet of plastic onto the floor and leave it there for 24hrs. If mositure is present, the epoxy will not stick. Not sure how it will work with the sealer....
