danish wood oil, everywhere?

Noob "carpenter" here. when yall apply wood oil to your new piece of furniture, do you oil everywhere, like under the table top and the bottom of shelves or jsut where you can see? I was planning on applying 2 coats and doing just where you can see would save a boat load of time/oil. thanks

Depends on what it's made out of and how much I care. Plywood shop stuff I'm less careful. Actual furniture made of solid hardwood gets all surfaces coated identically for less chance of warping.
