Danmar D-8 lift, anyone own one?

Just curious.

After seeing all the Maxjax threads I was poking around you tube and saw a pretty thorough review of home shop lifts. This one seems to have a lot more features than the maxjax, besides being portable. Drive through clearance is greater than even much larger lifts.

I tried a search, looks like its not very popular.

Here's the vid I mentioned, Danmar starts at about 15.

They don't have the d9 on their site so I'm guessing the d8 replaced it.

Don't box yourself in to only 8k capacity. I would go with 10k lift to give you more flexibility as well as more safety factor. You may end up with a heavier vehicle, so limiting your options should be avoided for the cost of extra bucks. FWIW
