It looks they are owned by the same company, they both sell a 10K lift and the Danmar is currently on sale. Does anyone know the differences between the lifts? The Bendpak 10AP is ~$1800 more expensive than the Danmar D2-10A while this sale is going on and only about $500 more once the sale is closed. My shop is all done and I am about to order a lift. Anyone have any insight?

Danmar went bankrupt a couple of years ago, and BP bought at least some of the IP and assets.

Wonder if they are just clearing out old inventory???

From what I can see they purchased the name and revamped all the offerings. Does seem weird they're only discounting the Danmar products. Its like they're trying to get rid of inventory. Does that make them **** though?

Power packs should be generic. Not sure about cylinders and seal kits, pulleys and shafts, etc.

Hoses and cables could be made locally If necessary.

Structural components are fabrications that should never fail.
