Dannmar 8 quart oil drain

Anyone using the Dannmar 8 quart oil drain with their MaxJax?? I just purchased it and it looks tool tall at the lowest setting. I haven't checked with the lift just yet. I just completed the install and haven't lifted a car up yet because I have a car in the bay with NO motor. LOL.

Yes, it is too tall for use with the MaxJax. I cut about a foot off one of the tubes and it works fine now.

I cut off enough that the max height it can reach is just below the oil drain on my car. I wanted to gain as much clearance as possible when in the full down position.

I've looked at a number of the small portable oil drain cans and they all seem to have a minimum height of 46"-48". I didn't realize that the tubes were separate pieces and can be shortened. That's good to know!!

Thanks everyone, I just cut a foot off as recommended by Dawson. Seems perfect now. Great idea and simple enough.
