Dannmar lift question

I recently installed a Dannmar D-10 ACX lift in my shop. I ran into an issue with the power unit hydraulic connection. The main hydraulic hose is supposed to connect to the outside of the power unit and is only long enough to do so. My power unit has a plug in that location and the red plastic plug where the 90* fitting goes is on the car side of the unit. My question is can I move the permanent plug to the car side of the unit and connect the main hydraulic hose to the outside of the unit?
I bought the lift through Garage Equipment Supply at the beginning of the year and now I can't get through to them or Dannmar. I don't know if the Covid situation has them out of the office, but all of their voice mailboxes are full.
I also sent an email to Dannmar support but haven't received a response.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

Danmar is out of business, they were bought by Bendpak, but they are not honoring any Danmar warranties at this time. Just FYI.

I would try and get ahold of the place that sold it to you - maybe an email to their technicians if you can't get thru on the phone.

Well that is not the news I wanted to hear. Thanks for the info.

Nazu, my understanding (I have not done this myself) is that there are stores that will sell you hydraulic hoses of whatever length and width you specify.

So if your problem is just that a specific hydraulic hose isn't long enough, you can probably get a custom one made.

I think I got it figured out. After researching pictures on the net of the same power unit I think they just put the plug on the wrong side from the factory. I swapped the plug to the other side and connected the main hose to the side it’s supposed to go on. Once I get power to it I guess I’ll find out.
It ***** that I received this lift in February and now the company I bought it from is gone. I’m hoping the warranty is still good through Bend Pak. I talked with a technical support rep there and they said they won’t have warranty or technical support for Dannmar until August.
