I purchased my M6 on black friday last year, didn't get it til late February. Central Transport delivered it and apparently didn't get paid for shipping when dannmar folded 30ish days after I received it. I've told them to kick rocks for a few months now. Only problem is I had it delivered to my work address and now they are sending legal letters to my work asking for three hundred and some odd dollars.

I would send them a letter reminding them they are owed by Dannmar, NOT you. I would also include that if they need to be further reminded of that it will cost them your lawyer's time, your time and their lawyer's time to do so.

IANAL, but yeah, you did not enter into an agreement with them, Dannmar did. Tell them to keep kicking rocks, you made your payment to Dannmar according to the agreement you entered with Dannmar.

Sometimes the law and court precedent say a contract existed even when you didn’t sign. In this case the Interstate Commerce Act likely creates a contract that puts the freight company in the drivers seat. If you could also afford to hire lobbyists to take senators out for a lobster dinner, you might have outbid the freight companies and have a law on the books that would make the kicking rocks approach work.

Well the good news is they are going after my place of work (delivery address) instead of me. The bad new is they are going after my place of work, haha. I'm waiting for a call back. Last lady said it was in court and I wouldn't get anymore letters, but work got another letter...

sounds like this may ruin it for anyone in the future that orders something for themselves and has it shipped to their work.....

I learned this today calling the 1-800 number to speak to someone in tech support about what I'm hoping isn't a flow divider issue and also order a replacement set of rubber pads for the lifting pads. Two of them just disintegrated on my M6. Anyway, I called the number and it said thanks for calling Dannmar, then after being on hold for 20 minutes (and continually told every 15 seconds that I had a 2 minute wait), someone answered and said "Hello, thanks for calling BendPak." Wasn't expecting that, told her what my issue was and she said they won't have any parts until November and all warranties on Dannmar products are void. Didn't want to hear this as I'm still in my 3 year warranty on the M6. Pretty disappointing if you ask me.

I sent you a PM with some contact information you might not have.
