I’m already having to go too many places to go to all these different forums (that use to all be in one spot on Tapatalk) I’m not going to have multiple browsers also.
Tapatalk was super convenient because all the forums I frequent were all in one place using the same format. It also made it super easy to upload photos from my iPhone to each forum the same easy way. I understand leaving after what they started doing but having to go through multiple hoops is making it a lot easier to consider to just walk away from everything.
This is why Facebook is so popular, it’s super easy to see everything in one place. I’m not a FB fan but I finally got it because I was unable to find certain things without it.
You would find it convenient as you get used to using the forum on browser.I understand (and agree) with what you did but that doesn’t change the part where it was super convenient. Just trying to find my way with a new (to me) way of using this forum.
I found this forum because of tapatalk so up until you stopped using it that was the only way I ever knew.
My iPhone has been in dark mode since it became available but it doesn’t change the browser screen to dark mode. You would find it convenient as you get used to using the forum on browser.
Android phones offer dark mode option through pull down bar. There should be something similar in iPhone I guess.
Huh, not that the bright screen bothers me but I never thought of adjusting the screen brightness. You would find it convenient as you get used to using the forum on browser.

Firefox is a no go for me on my phone as it doesn't have a last pass add-on yet, however, I did find that there is a way to force Chrome to covert sites to dark mode. Going to try this for a bitMozilla has a DarkMode addon

Now that tapatalk is gone can there be an option for dark mode? It’s so much easier on the eyes in my opinion.

No apple stuff here, but I did post an android fix above, which is working pretty well.Guys, on your iPhone/iPad just go to Settings, General, Accessibility, Accessibility Shortcut (at the very bottom), select “Smart Invert Colors”.
Now just triple click your home button and it will toggle between dark mode and standard.

Have you tried turning night shift on? That might help white the white pollution a little.Bump.
It’s been a while. Would be nice to get something other than all of this white glare.
Been trying out Safari extensions to provide dark mode. Haven’t yet found one that doesn’t annoy me.

Thanks for bringing this up. I use Chrome and I have figured out how to enable dark mode. Takes a bit to get used to it but so far I'm getting it.
How did you do it?

Re: Dark Mode Trick for Google Chrome Users
That is awesome!!! I see the same exists in Edge. What you would do ti create an option for dark mode that is just a link to this feature.community.meraki.com
I'm currently trying something different. I used the Windows setting to select a contrast theme under the "personalization" tab , started with the "DUSK" theme and then edited some colors a bit more to my liking. Once you "edit" a theme you have to rename and save as. In the full "DARK MODE" I linked above some websites were terrible, text photos didn't show. Time will tell if this tweak can work. Each change requires some time to get used to.Well that's certainly dark....
Maybe we just need "less bright" mode
