Came to this site when I started construction on my garage, and I stumbled across this " Hot Deals " section. Never has my wallet been so empty...

Yea, I hear you! I've been here a little over a year, and my tools have doubled if not tripled just because of this place. I went from a chest of drawers, a cabinet and a 26" Clarke top box to a HF 44", and a 26" stack (top and bottom). How did that happen? What was my daily stuff became my road box and the rest as they say is history. Didn't even know about Wilde until GJ.

nice start and looks like you might need a nice vintage tool box. if you don't want to buy anymore tools "do not" I repeat "do not" go read the look at my tool box thread.

i thought i had a few tools until i saw those guys that have 20 crescent wrenches in one drawer and tool boxes that cost as much as a nice new car.

welcome to GJ

What's even worse is being able to look at your table, remember the thread they each belong to and the prices they each were!

Hey! I'm responsible for one of them!

But I gotta ask, where did all the sockets come from?

sockets are probably the 299pc Craftsman set that was on sale

Correct.

But yeah, I've been using hand me down/cheapo BS since I was a teen and figured with the new house, new shop, and new tool box I should go ahead and get some better quality tools and cleanse all the cheap junk.

Still got a long way to go!

Well it looks like the tool bug bit you pretty bad. I will volunteer to help with your new addiction so please send those wallet killers to my neck of the woods and I'll dispose of them properly:D

Curious, the sets of combo wrenches are from what deal?

Man what is that like 600$ in tools at least?

The 20pc SAE/Metric Gearwrench brand deal were $49.99 at Sears, it's in the Hot Deals forum for sure.

Lets see...

299 Socket Set - $320
51pc Gear Wrench 1/4" Set - $40
Astro Wrenches $22
20pc Gear Wrench set $50
Gear Wrench XL set $45
SAE/Metric Flex Sockets $40
Eastwood Screwdrivers $20
PryBar Set $17

$554 lol, pretty damn close!

They can all go in my new box! I haven't seen many Kobalt fans on here so shun me if you must, but I got a sweet open box deal on it, and I'm a sucker for stainless. Most of my use is hobby/mechanic so don't need / nor can afford a really nice box.

I searched high and low at the 6 local sears near me for that awesome 41" SS Box clearence they had but had no luck, so this was the next best thing.

I had to disable my slickdeals app because of this.

I was buying stuff I "might" need just because it was listed on slickdeals.

I might need a #2 Phillips screw driver, I don't need 40 #2 Philips screw drivers

GOD damned enablers!! LOL!!

Almost every week I talk myself into buying a nice 175 piece set I've had my eye on....only thing that stops me is having it all - three times over!!
