d'arsonval meter movement repair

I was using my old Mac dwell/rpm meter when it fell off onto the floor. The needle now doesn't work. The cylinder cancellation still works so I think it is in the needle hub. All wires are still intact, etc. too. These d'arsonval meter movements are like working on a watch and I have no idea how to do that.
Does anyone know of where I could send it for repair?

If there is no place that does that I think I could just replace the needle assembly but would need to know the specs and milliamp ratings I would guess. Any source for those?

They work like the escape wheel on a watch. The shaft ends that rotate in ruby bushings are VERY small. Hair thin steel that all to often shears off on impact. I do not know of anyone who repairs these even on watches. On a watch, you'll just get a replacement (though most mechanical watches since the 1940's have had some form of a shock resistant balance design that I have not seen on d'Arsonval movements). On your multimeter, I'm afraid it's trash.
