Dash Command Extended Parameter question

I've been using Dash Command-Iphone Version for a few Ford's that I have and it's always been pretty good at basic OBD codes. Just recently I pulled the codes on one vehicle and there are some specific "Ford Enhanced Parameters". My question is this...I own three Ford vehicles, all three are different year models. If I download the enhanced package at $9.99, do I have to do it for the 1997, again for the 2003, and again for a 2005, or will the 2005 encompass either of the earlier model years with the same "enhancements"? I'd hate to buy the 1997, only to find out I could have bought the 2003 package and it work for all previous years also. The ford packages are in-app buys per year by auto manufacturer.

Thanks,

What is the 97 vehicle. For the 97 f250HD and F350 they use and OBD1 plus type of thing. Not quite OBD1 and not quite OBD2. It had to with with some odd EPA rules at the time. The other 2 should be OBD2. So I would bet 2 more purchases needed. If the 97 is a powerstroke diesel it gets a little weirder.

A 1997 5.0 Mountaineer, a 2003 4.6 Mountaineer, and a 2005 4.0 Ford Explorer. I just wondered if the 2005 enhanced package would by any chance cover all three vehicles since their same manufacturer and close in model/platform. That would save me some money. I need it for the 1997, but if it was backwards compatible, then I'd get the 2005 and hope it worked for all.
