Date code on Vintage Craftsman 3/8 drill?....

.....I've been searching for a guide to the date codes found on Craftsman power tools but have been more than confused.

What I have is a Craftsman 3/8 Variable speed drill 315.11350 with a stamped code of 6714.

I'm guessing that it is a 1967 model. Pics to come.
