jwp48: Vises are hard to determine the DOM. Athol vises were produced from the 1800s until around 1920. That's when Starrett bought Athol out and started producing their own branded vises there. I'm not sure if Starrett immediately stopped production of the Athol brand vises when they took over, phased out the Athol brand.
