Date this Snap-On box?

Picked up several boxes of junk free, as I was emptying this one, from the inside I noticed an embossed name and flipped it over, and read Snap-On !
Looked thru a couple of the catalogs at Collecting Snap On, but could not ID it.
Hasp seems to be original and the top has the corner reinforcements that might help with a date. Handle is not gen-u-wine qnd the tray is gone.
Any idea on the date ?

I have one like it that is 1967.

I have never seen a snap on this style, it looks pre 1950s. and was repainted.

Its late 30s to early 40s. Its a K-24 if its 20". its a K-25 if its like 21-1/4 inches.
