Date thread was started

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this...but it would be cool when you click on a section, like "General Tool Discussion" for instance, and when you see all the threads and who started them, if there was a date when that particular thread was started next to username of the person who started it.

Some threads I start reading thinking they're relatively new, then realize that most of the posts are six months or older, and only the last post is current.

the date is there.......right above the username of the OP

I believe the OP is taking about when you first open the the forum, like Free Parking. The last poster is shown and the date of that post, but not the OP's original posting date.

Yep, that's what I meant. I don't like to be overwhelmed with info when a page loads, but I think that would be useful.

Esp. when people dredge up threads from 2005 and 2006 that haven't been posted to in eons.

Yeah, it would be nice to have that date in there as well, but it's no big deal.
