Dating S-k Ratchets

I recently picked up a few S-K ratchets and am curious if anyone here has good information on dating these. Alloy Artifacts does have some info but there are still questions.

So, I have these "diamond" logo ratchets. AA states:

In 1932 Sherman-Klove formed an S-K Tools division and began offering tools under the S-K brand, using a design with "S-K Tools" in a diamond as a logo.

Ok.. Diamond logo started in 1932, but when did they stop using it? Is there any way to narrow it down?

and I have this "S-K Wayne" Roto ratchet that has a sort of grey matte chrome (except the head is polished on the back.. around the selector) AA States:

In 1962 S-K and Lectrolite were purchased by the Symington-Wayne Corporation, and the tools began to be marked with the "S-K Wayne" trademark by 1964.

Again, does anyone know when they stopped using "S-K Wayne" branding and can this ratchet be roughly dated?

I love the fact that, despite not knowing more about the dates, one thing is sure, they are old. They also function perfectly and are really nice ratchets, especially the Roto head.

The Roto pics ****, but I realized after and am too lazy to retake them.

I think they lost the diamond logo when wayne bought them out.
S-k wayne stuff was only made for two or three years if I remember correctly, making it harder to find.

The presence of a patent number will help with determining date of manufacture. Most later S-K tools do not have the patent number.

The S-K Wayne trademark was used from about 1962 through 1969, so it is a bit rare. In 1968, Dresser Industries got into the game: "In 1968, the Wayne Oil Tank and Pump Company, established in 1891,[6] merges with Dresser,[7] becoming the Dresser-Wayne Company.[8]" (source: Wikipedia)

With all of the mergers and acquisitions, it is a bit challenging to figure out date of mfg for an S-K tool. There doesn't seem to be many resources for research, other than Alloy Artifacts.

I dunno I heard they can be very picky at restaurants if you can actually get them to respond. I prefer my blonde girl that I can use as a chinrest. You should get yourself one of them. But if you want to stick to dating s-k ratchets go ahead I mean it is 2016 you can be sksexual if you want now
