It see.s that Dawn has a new version.
Dawn Powerwash Heavy Duty.

From reading the label, the primary difference is it's based on alcohol, not water.
The markering says it's more concentrated, but you can't tell for sure. From the label.

Anyone compare to the original yet.
I have a bottle, but have not found a job for it yet.

Their product line is getting quite confusing. Examining the bottle labels reveals a wide range of varieties, making it challenging to distinguish one from another. It reminds me of women's hair shampoo. There is one for every color, every hair type, and the list goes on. It is all driven by marketing, and it is extremely difficult to determine if what is inside the bottle is any different except for the labels. It is confusing enough that even Consumer Reports would probably throw up its hands and say, "We give up".

The single difference i found on the label is that the first ingredient in the original Powerwash is water, and Alcohol is not listed, and the first ingredient in the Heavy Duty is Alcohol, and water is not listed.
The rest of the ingredients were as far as I could tell the same and in the same order.

They smell like they have some (slightly) caustic chemicals.
I don't know what they are, but as an example, they dissolved the coffee stain on the bottom of the drip pot, that Dawn barely touches.

Thanks. For the coffee pot and stainless mugs, I do an overnight soak with hot water and some powdered dishwasher detergent.

Yes, the oder is simito oven cleaner, or some of the stronger dry dishwasher detergent (both use caustic chemicals).

I have used the regular Powerwash with Gain for a bunch of different things, including cleaning the shower. It doesn't replace the regular stuff for everything, but being in concentrated spray form has it benefits.

HD Powerwash surprised me with how much it better it cleans heavy soiled items like the stove over regular dawn. I reserve it for use cases where its needed, regular dawn (non-powerwash) for everything else.

This is what I was going to say. I just sprayed my SS coffee mug the other day and this stuff took off all the stain. Not that the mug was terrible ,but it was stained.

Wife uses the stuff on my jeans before throwing them in the washer to get out grease/oil stains. I'll use a small amount when I wash my hands at the kitchen sink.

Good stuff, I like the regular stuff. I haven't seen the HD version yet but will grab a bottle when I see it.

We have some that I occasionally used to clean my hands. It worked so well that I bought a bottle to keep by the sink in the shop. It seems to do as well as my other two devoted hand cleaners. Ollie’s Outlet has if for $2.99 in my area for the refills, which may be the regular version, being in there. Grocery store was around $11 for a twin pack refill this week.
